| Cantech 188 High Performance Filament Tape is made from Glass filament strands laminated to paper coated with an aggressive high tack thermoplastic (hot melt)adhesive. This is a very strong filament tape . The qualities of this strapping tape is strength.. General usages for this tape is extra heavy bundling and tying.
Other usages are:
· Unitizing groups of cartons to obtain better LCL freight rates
· Palletizing of extra heavy cartons
· Strapping rods, moulding, tubes, and plywood without danger of scratching, staining, or damaging
· Reinforcing cartons, protecting from pilferage
· Holding doors, loose parts on stoves and refrigerators while in transit
Temperature application is up to 55 degrees F
Temperature resistance is from –35 degrees F to 130 degrees F. The tensile strength is 300 lbs/in. Meets US Spec 999-T-97D Type 11.
